On the afternoon of November 6, the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) and Surgnova Healthcare Technologies (Surgnova) launched cooperation and exchange regarding the National Medical Center Construction Project “Research, Development, and Clinical Application Promotion of Endoscopic High-Frequency Composite High-Voltage Electric Pulse Minimally Invasive Tumor Ablation Device” based on combination of online and offline. President Zhang Jindi, Vice President of R&D of Surgnova Huang Wenxing, Product Director of Surgical Mechanical Platform Li Guangrong, Director of Surgery Vision Platform Yuan Yanyang, Sales Director Ding Xiaoxiong, Sales Deputy Director Du Chao, Manager of Northwest Region Zhao Chao, Manager of Xi'an Region Mei Shidong, Lyu Yi, Assistant-to-President of XJTU and President of the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU, Director of Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery Wu Zheng, Wu Rongqian, Deputy Director of the National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Precision Surgery and Regenerative Medicine and other related researchers attended the Meeting. The Meeting was presided over by Professor Wu Rongqian.
Professor Wu Rongqian introduced the construction background and significance of the National Medical Center, and the work progress of the hospital, and also elaborated the project “Research, Development, and Clinical Application Promotion of Endoscopic High-Frequency Composite High-Voltage Electric Pulse Minimally Invasive Tumor Ablation Device”.Subsequently, President Zhang Jindi introduced the profile of Surgnova, especially the achievements in the fields of surgical vision, surgical energy, and tumor ablation, etc. Vice President Huang Wenxing introduced the research and development background, performance indicators and functional characteristics of Surgnova Steep Pulse Ablation Device. Doctor Ren Fengang, Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery introduced the development progress and achievements of “High-Voltage Electric Pulse Minimally Invasive Tumor Ablation Device” under the support of National Natural Science Foundation Major Scientific Instrument Development Project and National Key Research and Development Program “Research and Development of Digital Diagnosis and Treatment Equipment”.
Subsequently, both parties performed discussions on further cooperation regarding High-Voltage Electric Pulse Minimally Invasive Tumor Ablation Device. Professor Wu Zheng and Professor Wu Rongqian respectively proposed constructive opinions on the program of cooperation to be implemented. Finally, both parties basically reached a consensus on cooperation.
